Creepy Mom's, Brought To You By Old Spice
As much as I feel terribly disturbed by watching these spots, I absolutely love them. So uncomfortable and spotlight right on Mom's as total creep shows about their feelings of losing their baby bird from the nest. Epic. Done by Wieden & Kennedy in Portland and my applause for catching our attention in a magnificently unsettling way.

Lunchtime Creations
This is the kind of Dad I plan to be... The one who draws all over the lunch I make you. Yeah, it'll be healthy and I will make sure you're eating right, but I'm also going to make it fun for us both, and inspire (hopefully) creativity. And frankly, I can't help but doodle during meetings, so I'm sure prepping meals will leave me with the same mind wandering creations... And honestly, I can't wait. Thanks to my partner for slapping this gem up on my Facebook wall and hats off to David Laferriere for his awesome lunchtime creations.

Environmental Scultpures
Created and shot by photographer and artist Martin Hill. See more at the credit link. Killer work.

"The use of the circle refers to nature’s cyclical system which is now being used as a model for industrial ecology. Sustainability will be achieved by redesigning products and industrial processes as closed loops—materials that can’t safely be returned to nature will be continually turned into new products. Of course this is only one part of the redesign process. We need to use renewable energy, eliminate all poisonous chemicals, use fair trade and create social equity."
